This is Hilda’s Wella holy well in Hinderwell, North Yorks.
Hilda was a 7th century Saint who lived in Whitby. Apparently she prayed for water and a spring appeared. Then they built this. Chucks it down every time we’re there, could do with that prayer being paused.
